If you are suffering from bloating, then its good to remember that any and all symptoms we experience are our body’s way of telling us that something is out of balance and needs addressing.
Here are some of the tweaks and changes that you can try making to help your body to eradicate your bloating for good.
Tip 1: Chew your food properly. Your food should be like liquid when you swallow it. This means that you make it easy for your stomach to break it down and digest it. Your food will only remain in your stomach for a set period of time and therefore, if it goes to move out into the small intestine and is not properly broken down, this can cause bloating.
Tip 2: Eat in a relaxed state. Eating stressed and not being mindful or present when we’re eating can force our bodies to digest our food in a less helpful way. Not only that but, being stressed reduces our digestive enzymes and stomach acid which means our food then doesn’t get broken down as well.
Tip 3: Consider supplementing with digestive enzymes. Our enzyme count tends to deplete as we age and having enough can be a crucial part of ensuring that we digest properly. You could ask your natural healthcare provider for an appropriate blend of enzymes or go to your local health food store.
Tip 4: Get yourself tested for food sensitivities. Eating foods that don’t suit you will potentially trigger a reaction in your body, which could well involve bloating. A Kinesiologist is in a perfect position to be able to test you for food sensitivities and give you these answers.
Tip 5: Think about ways that you can bump up and increase the population of good guys in your guts. The bigger your army, the more bacteria there is there to deal with the foods that you are eating which can seriously help to prevent bloating.
Finally, if you find that the above tips don’t resolve the issues for you; there could be something unhappy in your guts that needs a bit of clearing out and supporting. Again, this is something that can very much be looked into, tested and resolved by a Kinesiologist or Naturopath. This could therefore be a time to have a conversation with such a person to get their help.
